Great photography shouldn’t mean corraling your team into one location, juggling your schedule, or having a camera in your face for hours. Whether you’re a solo professional, a busy team, or a multi-site company, professional photography should feel straightforward, and the results should speak for themselves. That’s why most of my sessions are held remotely.

A better way to have a professional photoshoot

Remote photography is changing what’s possible for busy professionals and businesses, and once people experience it, many don't want to go back to the traditional way.

Instead, your session happens wherever you are; at your desk, in your practice, at home, at a time that actually fits. The experience is still warm, personal, and attentive. The quality is still exceptional. It’s simply more convenient.

For companies with multiple locations, this is transformative.

Getting consistent, on-brand imagery across a whole organisation used to mean either enormous logistical effort or accepting that different sites just looked different. Remote sessions solve that completely.

For schools, veterinary practices, medical settings, government sites, and other environments where security, safeguarding, or operational continuity matters, remote sessions remove the complexity of bringing an external photographer on site entirely, without compromising on quality or experience.

For anyone who finds the camera a little uncomfortable (whether that’s camera shyness, neurodiversity, anxiety, or simply not loving having a lens pointed at you) the relaxed, familiar environment of a remote session makes a real difference. Being in your own space, with no audience, changes everything and brings better results EVERYTIME.

How sessions work

Every session starts with a conversation, not a camera. We talk about your business, your audience, and what “you, at your best” actually looks like.

Sessions run remotely by default, so wherever you’re based, you’re covered. If you’re near Thirsk, in-person is also an option.

Remote sessions

  • A video call to plan your shots, outfits, and locations beforehand

  • Simple, encrypted app that connects you and your photographer via your own smartphone and an internet signal.

  • Simple, guided direction during your session, while your photographer captures the photos for you.

  • A relaxed pace, no rushing between setups

  • Professional editing and secure digital delivery exactly as you’d get in person

In-Person sessions

  • A video call to plan your shots, outfits, and locations beforehand

  • Same guided approach, done face to face as remotely

  • Choice of studio or on-location shots

  • May be limited by location restrictions such as time limits or locations.

  • Perfect for product photography which requires detail shots.

For those who prefer, in-person photography sessions can also be arranged at a location that suits you, whether that's your office, a co-working facility, or a local venue in the Thirsk, North Yorkshire area, tailored to match your brand and requirements. Wherever you are, you don’t have to figure this out alone. Not sure whether remote or in-person is right for you?

Traditional Photoshoots

  • Travel may be required for you or your photographer, which can increase cost of session.

  • Disruption to your day. Need tp factor in travel time, as well as the photoshoot. Usually half to full day.

  • Local availability only. Only offered within North Yorkshire at present.

  • May need to provide security clearance. Requirement to check suitability for security-sensitive locations. May require access arrangement. We are DBS checked.

  • Not always ideal if you are camera shy/ND/etc. Unfamiliar or crowded locations can be a consideration for some. We work with you to minimise any concerns

  • Scheduling restrictions. Scheduling dependent on photographers schedule, as well as those participating in the session and even venues where session will be held. Logistics can be difficult for multi-location or large companies

  • High quality photography. All images delivered as high-resolution 300dpi digital files, with professional retouching included as standard.
