The story behind Joanne Moorhouse Creative
After years of freelancing in photography and marketing, I saw the need for a more streamlined way to help people look and feel confident in their visual presence.
In 2019, I founded Joanne Moorhouse Photography as a local, on-location photography service designed to help busy professionals update their images with ease.
When the pandemic hit, I reinvented my business as a fully remote photography service, embracing a cutting-edge photoshoot platform that delivers high-quality, convenient professional photography. This shift opened the door to working with clients around the world — and I haven’t looked back.
As the demand for cohesive branding grew, I expanded my services and evolved into Joanne Moorhouse Creative, bringing together photography, coaching, design, branding, and content creation into one strong and simplified visual communications package for veterinary practices and busy professionals worldwide.
After many years working within the veterinary industry, I chose to specialise in this area, having seen firsthand how much veterinary professionals need support in building trust and visibility amidst their demanding schedules.
In my downtime...
I enjoy day trips to new towns and villages, exploring historic properties, spending quiet time at the beach or in the forest, and sharing quality moments with friends and family. I’m passionate about supporting animal rescue and mental health charities and love listening to music — especially hits from the 80s and 90s. I reside in-between the Yorkshire Dales and Moors in beautiful 'Herriot County' of North Yorkshire (named after James Herriot of All Creatures Great and Small fame) with my two cats, who happily rule the house.

I am an award-winning visual communications specialist, remote photographer, and coach with over a decade of experience in the veterinary and more than 25 years in the creative industries.
I work closely with my clients around the world on a collaborative basis, ensuring every project truly reflects their personality, values, and goals. This approach builds trust, saves time, and creates meaningful visuals that align seamlessly with their brand identity.
